FAQs
How can I find blaster competitions in my area?
The Blaster Tag Association is a good place to start. Their website lists leagues across four different continents as well as announcements about competitions and events. If you don’t see a listing for a league in your area, try looking for Humans vs. Zombies (HvZ) games and groups at local colleges as those might be open to non-students. You could also consider starting your own league! If you do, reach out to Game Face — we might consider sponsorship.
What firing speeds (feet-per-second/fps) are legal for Blaster Tag Association events?
Different leagues set different maximum speeds for stock, super stock, and ultra stock level events. Game Face makes blasters that should meet your local league requirements. The Game Face Trion has three different speed settings: 130 fps, 160 fps, and up to 200 fps
Does getting hit with a dart fired from a Game Face blaster hurt?
Game Face blasters are engineered for safe use in blaster competitions. While they fire darts at high speeds, the Pro Darts they fire are foam with soft tips, so they only impact with enough force to allow you to recognize that you’ve been hit. Getting hurt is not the point of blaster events. We do not recommend you fire Game Face darts (or anything) at anyone’s face.
Please always wear safety goggles when using Game Face blasters or any other projectile system.
Can you safely fire Game Face blasters indoors?
Game Face blasters can be safely fired indoors as long as you are not reckless. The impact force of a Game Face dart might be enough to knock over a small, light, or delicate item, such as a wine glass, but they won’t damage walls or furniture. We do not recommend you fire Game Face darts (or anything) at anyone’s face.
Please always wear safety goggles when using Game Face blasters or any other projectile system.

Why am I getting a different speed (fps) than advertised?
Advertised speeds are based on use of Game Face Pro Darts in unmodified Game Face blasters. There can be a slight variation in speeds caused by minor differences in individual darts or weather conditions. Chronometers can also have variations in how they report speeds. Should your Game Face blaster be firing at significantly different speeds than advertised, please contact us for warranty service.
Game Face stands by its products and we want to know if your Game Face blaster isn’t performing as advertised.
How can I purchase Game Face blasters in countries other than the USA?
Different countries have different laws concerning the sale and use of blasters. At present, Game Face is only able to ship blasters to addresses in the United States of America. Please follow Game Face on social media to learn of any updates to this policy. Game Face has the following social media accounts:
